Philipsburg Brewing Company announces new limited release series available in store
Ever sought a taste of the ‘Burg without the trek? Philipsburg Brewing Company’s new limited release series offers up some of the best brews the taproom creates, without having to make the trip to the base of the Pintlers.
Available at select grocery stores and gas stations around Montana, “Greetings from Philipsburg Brewing Company” will showcase a rotating array of seasonal choices.
“We’re excited to be able to share these brews across our great state through our partner distributors,” owner Cathy Smith said.
“Our brewers create amazing recipes and though we wish everyone could come visit our beautiful taprooms, we know that’s not always an option. This limited release series gives beer sippers the chance to taste some of our taproom favorites without making the trip to the Burg.”
The Greetings From Philipsburg Brewing Company Limited Release series kicks off with Love Tractor IPA, which combines the hoppy goodness of an American IPA with crisp “zing” from an American-style wheat beer and comes in at 6.3% ABV and 50 IBUs. Wheat and Vienna malt plow the field for this hazy IPA and 100% whole flower Mosaic hops produce big fruity flavors and aromas. The light, citrusy finish makes this a perfect brew for the late spring and early summer here in the Big Sky State.
Once Love Tractor has made its rounds and we enter the heat of summer, keep your eyes peeled for Hot Spot, our Blood Orange Pale Ale crafted specifically as a refreshing treat during the smoke season. Amarillo and Cascade hops combine with wheat and flaked oats for a creamy mouthfeel which is finished off with a delicious blood orange puree. Coming in at 6.4% ABV and 38 IBUs, this ale’s beautiful rich color mimics our summer sunsets.
Keep an eye out for the vintage postcard-inspired four-pack carriers and our distinctive Alumi-tek resealable bottles, which are perfect for year-round adventures.
